About Us, https://thespot.wustl.edu/about-us/ , 2025
In 2014, TheSPOT retained Yellow Brick Creative Studio to design a vehicle wrap for a newly acquired mobile testing vehicle. As the designer for this project, I consulted with the organization’s representative to ensure a shared understanding of the project expectations. I developed three design options (Photoshop) that I believed would appeal to the youth. A board consisting of staff and youth selected one of the three designs. After color revisions were suggested by the deciding body, I created a vectored version (Illustrator) that would be used by the print and installation vendor. The chosen design was installed in 2014. I recently discovered that the vehicle had been re-wrapped in 2020 with the same design with one minor color change and is still being used today in 2025.
Recently, a staff member at TheSPOT informed me that the design has achieved its goal as it captures the attention of the youth and allows TheSPOT to expand its reach by delivering on-site health and wellness services.
